In 2024, a wonderful opportunity awaits as eligible-age children have the chance to experience the enriching environment of our kindy for 15 hours a week, totalling 600 hours throughout the year – and it’s entirely cost-free! We encourage you to secure your child’s spot by enrolling now.
Kindy Days
Our Kindy runs on a 5 day a fortnight cycle, giving the children in both groups an even amount of time at kindy over the year.
- Group A: Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays, 8:30am to 2:30pm
- Group B: Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays, 8:30am to 2:30pm
We operate during QLD school terms. We are closed for school holidays, public holidays and some pupil free days.
A colour-coded timetable/calendar is given out to all families so that you know exactly when your child will attend each week throughout the coming year. You can also track your child’s Kindy days by logging into the Kidsoft Parent Portal.

Fee Information
With the exception of our one-off enrolment fee, payable per child per year, there should be no out-of-pocket fees for eligible-aged kindy children in 2024.
Enrolment fee: $100 per year
Payable upon acceptance of this position, this fee is for your child’s enrolment and administration.
Term fees: $1025 each Term ($41/day)
Term Fees are fully subsidised by the QLD government for eligible-aged children in 2024. Children who are not eligible for subsidised placements (unfunded) are charged at 10% increase on the daily rate.
Eligible Age
This table shows the year the Queensland government recommends your child attends kindergarten. Children aged 4 years old by June 30 in the year they attend kindy are also called ‘Eligible age’ or ‘Target age’.

How to Apply
Waitlist now to secure your place at our centre. You will be added to a queue and contacted as soon as a suitable place is available. Places for kindergarten are usually offered for the following year, between May and July the year before. Please contact our centre directly via phone or email if have any questions.

Do you provide meals or snacks for the children?
Your child will need to bring a fruit snack for morning tea, which they enjoy during their outdoor playtime. In addition, we require them to bring a lunchbox. To ensure a nutritious and well-rounded diet, we kindly ask that you refrain from including items like lollies, chocolate, sweet biscuits, or chips. For lunch, consider packing options like cut-up vegetable sticks, wraps, pita pockets, sushi, quiches, boiled eggs, savoury muffins, sandwiches, crackers, yogurt or wholesome nuts and dried fruit. Their lunchbox will be kept cold in the fridge throughout the day.
Our approach also encourages children to bring back any uneaten food, allowing you to monitor their dietary preferences and habits. Please consider making lunches easy for your child to unwrap or open, as they may sometimes find it challenging to handle intricate packaging, and may not always ask for help.
We also request that you send a named drink bottle filled with water only. These bottles are accessible to children at all times, and our staff will be happy to refill them as needed.
As part of our enriching learning experience, we occasionally engage the children in hands-on cooking activities. Occasionally we create delicious treats like muffins or banana bread, which the children can enjoy and share with their peers.
